About Irish Gold Management

Irish Gold is the premier University of Notre Dame off-campus student housing provider serving 900+ Notre Dame Students in over 125 properties. John Kennedy, one of our Founding Partners, like the majority of Notre Dame students, decided to live off campus his senior year in 2017. He thought this would be a good transition between on-campus housing and the real world that was waiting beyond graduation. Instead, he was faced with
terrible conditions and unresponsive management. This experience stuck with him and he has spent the last seven years developing Notre Dame’s largest off-campus housing portfolio to fundamentally change the experience for undergrad and graduate Domer’s to come. With this goal in mind, we have overhauled all aspects of the off campus experience. We have renovated and furnished our properties, focus on safety and security, provide
immediate maintenance response, offer weekly maid services, and much more.

Amber Coppler

Property Manager

Amber Coppler is the property manager for Irish Gold and brings over 15 years of experience in the property management industry. She is dedicated to building strong relationships with each student and making their off-campus Notre Dame experience worry-free and enjoyable. Amber resides in Mishawaka with her husband of 20 years and their two sons. Her family are lifelong Irish fans, and in her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors in the warm weather.

Mike Fischer

Managing Partner

Mike Fischer brings 10 years of ownership, design and management of off campus student housing in South Bend. As managing partner, he is tasked with overseeing the student experience while living at an Irish Gold home. Mike has been happily married for 32 years and is the proud father of 3 Notre Dame alumni (’14,’15, ’16, and ’20), so he personally understands the needs of both parents and students.

Assistant Property Manager

Molly Summers-Wiley has been in property management since 2018, dedicated to making the rental experience as stress-free and enjoyable as possible for students at Notre Dame, St. Mary’s, and Holy Cross. She has a passion for travel and exploring new cultures—her favorite trip being to Japan, which she loved and hopes to visit again someday. Molly is committed to helping students find a welcoming and comfortable place to call home.
